The Desert collection is made using a lightly speckled, sand coloured clay, satin white glaze and earthy detailing painted freehand with red iron oxide. Inspired by the textures and colours of the bushland surrounding my hometown of Warialda, this collection celebrates the earth’s artistry through the use of the naturally occurring colourant of iron.
